WEEK 9 5/10/2015

         Today I studied new lesson that was "West meet East". First , We saw the pictures that teacher showed  to us.

        Then,We did exercises about the food, actors, movies, TV shows, musicians or music groups, and athletes in my country that have become popular overseas. Then I discuss with partner.


       Then,We read The "Asianization" of the United States.The vocabularies was too hard.I tried to guess meaning from vocabularies and sentences.


       After,we answered the questions about True(T) or False(F).


       Finally, teacher assigned us to do exercise for Next week.

WEEK 8 4/10/2015

          We continued to study Fashion from last week but the topic of this week was hairstyles. First activity was look at the pictures that are hairstyles pictures and solve the anagrams about hair.

            Then we read the article 'SPLITTING HAIRS' it about hairstyle of each country like a Korea, Japan, Taiwan, The UK, and The US. It was very different.

            Next, we made groups for discuss about hairstyle that we like the most and explained it to our friends


 



          I think that the new hair rules are good idea because they are formal and discipline for school.I think that male students should have crew cut because it's polite.Female students should have long hair because it's stable and discipline for female students.I also think that male and female students should to perform following strict rules for formal and discipline of school.

WEEK 7 14/09/2015



           Today we studied the new lesson. It was a 'Fashion'.First the teacher assigned us to write vocabularies about fashion onto the board such as...

           Than we read the article in our sheet.It was 'Fusion? Confusion!'. It was about the woman name's Yumiko, a student from Tokyo studying in USA, have found herself in difficulty because of her clothes. She had two bad experiences. The first time was a Saturday night when she went out with some students at her university. A lot of people stares at her because her clothes were different. The second time a man approached her and wanted to take her away because the way she dress. Yumiko realized that her clothes caused the two problems. When American people go out, they rarely dress up. They usually wear comfortable clothes such as jeans, T-shirt, and sneakers. It's interesting to learn that the image you get of a country from the TV is often very different in reality.






        Than we complete the sentences answer the question about the article.
        

        1. Japaneses people do not dress more conservatively than that American.
        2. Yumiko bad experiences in the American a lot of people stared at her.
        3. A man approached her and wanted to her away because style she dress.
        4.Yumoko realized that her clothes cause that two problems.
        5. American people rarely dress up when they went out.


        This week,I really like it because it easiest for me.I will tried to learn a lot of.

WEEK 6 7/09/2015

                 

          Today we started to study the "Today's technology " we read this passage and then we answered each of question given by us instructor. We learnt how to pronounce the words and got the knowledge such as If we stress the first syllable that is the noun. By the way, If we stress the second syllable that is the verb etc. 



          The teacher asked us to do new exercise.The teacher divided the students 7 groups and gave the news such as The search engine, Facebook, Blogging For ELT etc. Each of groups got the different topic. Each of group's members read their passage deliberately and concluded the main idea and the important details in English Version in order to explain with other friends.I was fun,This exercise was not too hard.

A blog is update website that look like an online journal. It's diary online. Can also display photos and using them with audio and even video.

Type of blogs
- the tutor blog is create by the teacher as information lesson and homework.
- the class blog is a share space with teacher and student.
- the learner blog is the student only online space and post comments on other students blogs.

Why blog?
When you create blog and send to the teacher she can see your blog and comment your web blog can see and comment on students blog.And the another people can see and comment you blog not only their teachers.

Using for weblog
- practice for student

- have knowledge more than in class, repeat the lesson in blog

- to stimulate for discussion

- to help build relationship stronger

Lesson online for practice listening skill. The name of digital program podcast is mp3 file useful in school, students, and teacher. Not only mp3 but also computer can play mp3 too. You can review lesson by download podcast. You can listening online or download.

vocabulary,grammar,Business English,word news,jokes,sing song.




Facebook


Start in USA for student develop to social network for communication with the other. You can share link that you are interested, find friends, can send message to people very quick.


Disadvantage
- be careful about the information that you share on facebook

Search engine


Like a vest library online. It is a special web, find data or everything that you want to know. The popular website is.g
oogle, yahoo, bing, ask.

Using keyword

1.When you want to know something. You can search on search engine and click search bottom.
2.You will see lists of your search.
3.Can read knowledge

Be aware

Search everything do you want to know, search engine like a robot. You can't trust or believe everything that the search show you.

WEEK 5 31/08/2015









         Today we started new unit the topic is Today's technology.


        The teacher assigned us to wrote the words that relation with technology.everyone shared out their opinions and went to front of classroom so that participated and make activity completely.



       
         Then the teacher assigned us to solved anagrams which words about technologies.The teacher taught us about new vocabulary in this lesson such as laptop and podcast.
         
        We read the article is "Profcasts"I looked at the questions in my hand out and I used the Scanning Strategy to find the answer.


      The advantages of profcasts are easy to work from home or move, can be downloaded onto MP3 players and the watched or listened where or when students want.They help students in studying.the students can review their lesson and they are easy way to understand.


     

      The disadvantages of profcasts are of two minds for parents because your parents can not analyze you use the profcasts to review your lesson or listen to the music. For the students who do not have an MP3 player. They will use the university computers. There are many students in there. This is the difficult to concentrate because there is too noise.

WEEK 4 24/08/2015


          This week learned about English Reading Strategies. First,discuss with partner about learned of a week ago.

          Then, read the news story 4 "Japan earthquake: Tsunami hits north-east" using English reading strategy by skimming skills and discuss with partner,answer the question,write T or F in the space provided.Then,write unfamiliar words and find their meaning from dictionaries after break.

          Then,we read new story 5 "California Fires:Evacuation orders given to 13,000" and answered question from news story and teacher interpreted any words because some words were difficult.

WEEK 3 17/08/2015



          This week was the third week of learning English Reading Strategies.First,discuss with partner about background knowledge of a week ago.Then,the teacher taught us about natural disasters and discuss with partner about Natural Disasters. .Teacher ordered students went to the front of classroom and wrote about natural disasters on the whitebord as far we can.







           The teacher assigned us to read the news story the topic was Myanmar flooding affects on million.And answer the question from the news story. Then the teacher explained the news topic was Typhoon Shoulder hits China with deaths,floods and mudslides and answer the question after read finished.






           Finally we presented about Healthy diet .It was good activity and i was funny with it.
